ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m William and I am an artist who has been painting off and on all of my life. I have been drawing, painting and creating art since I was a little dude. I had many of years where I turned my art into a graphic design business. I also had many years where life just got in the way of doing what I ultimately love to do the most, which is creating art. Recently I’ve rediscovered my passion of painting with oils on canvas!

 

I lived in Thousand Oaks, California most of my life but then I moved to Las Vegas back in 2010 and didn’t get back into painting until about 2019. So I have been creating work with oils since then, and recently have moved to Saint George, Utah to continue painting. It is a very beautiful and artistically inspiring area. I would say that my paintings reflect my love of mainly landscapes, still life studies, seascapes, etc. Also, I am always trying to find interesting subject matter that fits my personal style and finding interesting composition too. The best way to describe my style is how I try to manipulate the paint and colors to create light and shadow, which makes the subject come to life and forms my contemporary surrealistic style.
